The Fox Development Project is located in Eastern Kentucky, near to Cobalt’s existing operations in neighboring West Virginia.

The 'Glamorgan' coal seam is the geological formation being mined at Fox. Glamorgan seam coal has long been a producer of high grade metallurgical coal in the Appalachian region of the USA.

Cobalt is currently doing the permitting work to bring the Fox project into commercial coal production, which is expected to begin in Q1 2011. Cobalt owns a 100% interest in the Fox Development project.
