David M. Lewis, B.Comm, President and CEO, Board Member

Mr. Lewis has over 30 years experience in the resource exploration and extraction businesses, having founded, owned and operated a number of energy and power companies around the world. Mr. Lewis holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta.

Thomas Roberts, MSC Industrial Engineering, President of Cobalt Coal Corp Mining Inc.

Mr. Roberts has a master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee and is President of Cobalt Coal Corp Mining Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cobalt Coal Corp. Mr. Roberts has over 40 years experience as an underground contract coal miner, and is responsible for overseeing the day to day physical operation of the Westchester Coal Mine.

Robert L. Gilles, CA, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Gilles has been the full-time or permanent part-time CFO of six public companies. Prior to this Mr. Gilles was a partner in regional public accounting firms in Alberta and Ontario and was employed by KPMG International for ten years. Mr. Gilles holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Business), from York University, and became a Chartered Accountant in September, 1977.

Nick Colvin, V.P. Operations, Board Member

Mr. Colvin has been involved in the independent production of energy since 1995, holding various senior management positions in both publicly listed and private electrical generating companies, the primary focus of which was renewable power and waste energy.

 

AL J. Kroontje, BSc. Engineering, Board Member

Mr. Kroontje is currently the President of Telford Services Group Inc., an oilfield services company listed on TSXV and has served in that capacity since 1998. Mr. Kroontje has been involved with several public companies over the past 20 years. Mr. Kroontje graduated from the University of Waterloo in Engineering and has over 26 years of oil and gas industry experience.

Michael O. Kehler, CA, CFA Board Member

Mr. Kehler joined Tristone Capital in May of 2002 as COO. Prior to Tristone, Mr. Kehler has held various positions over a ten year period with a major international accounting firm culminating in the position of Senior Manager - Corporate Finance. Mr. Kehler holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and has the designations of Chartered Accountant, and Chartered Financial Analyst.

David E. T. Pinkman, BA, LLB Board Member

Mr. Pinkman is currently Vice-President and Director of Pan Western Energy Inc, a TSX Venture Exchange listed company active in oil and gas exploration and production. Mr. Pinkman has served on the boards of a number of public and private companies carrying on business in the resources and other industries.
